Your captive, closed and filed. Every quarter.
A live view of the captive, a quarterly close someone has signed, and every filing on time. For cells, 831(b) captives, single-parent captives under $1M of premium, and the independent managers who run them.
No sign-up to look at the sample. Pricing is quoted per firm.

A fictional captive from our synthetic book. The full sample shows every finding with its source.
Three things you get.
A live view of your captive
Cash, premium, claims, filings and the close, on one page, updated as documents arrive. Owners and directors get a read-only seat that never shows claimant detail.
The quarterly close, done and signed
Premium tied to receipts, paid losses to claim funding, unexplained cash flagged, every exception tracked to resolution, two people's sign-off. A close package the auditor can verify.
Every filing, on time
Annual statement, premium tax, licence renewal, actuarial opinion, audit, board meeting: dated from each domicile's own rule, with the regulator's source, owners and reminders.
Who it is for.
You own a small captive
A cell, an 831(b), or a single-parent captive under $1M of premium. You want to know where it stands without waiting for the next quarterly package.
Talk to us →You manage captives for clients
You are an independent manager. One accountant carries eight captives and the quarter is where the hours go. You want to carry more without a hire.
Run one quarter in parallel →You serve captives
A CPA, actuary or broker with captive clients. You want their closes to arrive reconciled and their filings to arrive on time.

Documents arrive
Loss runs, bank and custodian statements and fronting statements come in by email or upload. What has not arrived is listed, per captive.
Everything is checked
Each file is read and compared with the prior valuation. Premium, claims funding and cash are tied out. Each finding points to its row or page.
A person signs
The accountant reviews and signs. The close package, board package and audit binder are ready, and the live view updates.
Built to HIPAA's standard of care.
Captive data is claimant data, and sometimes protected health information. Every control is in the code, not in a policy document.
Encrypted, with a key per firm
AES-256-GCM on every document and every sensitive field, under a key derived for your firm alone. Keys never touch the database. TLS on every connection, encrypted at rest beneath that.
Strict access controls
No public sign-up. An authenticator app on every account. Roles that follow the minimum-necessary rule: owners and directors never see a claimant or a file. Thirty-minute idle and twelve-hour session limits.
Audited and accountable
An append-only log of every view, approval, export and sign-off. Four-eyes sign-off on every close. SHA-256 on every document. A Business Associate Agreement where protected health information is involved.
Why now.
What a captive accountant costs a year before benefits, if you can hire one. The industry calls it a talent crisis.
The 831(b) regulations were upheld in March. A small captive's election now needs watching every quarter, not once a year.
What the new venture-funded managers give owners with $1M+ of premium. Smaller captives should not get less.
Common questions.
- What does CaptiveVerify do?
- It takes the documents a captive already receives (TPA loss runs, bank and custodian statements, fronting statements, filing evidence), reads and checks them, reconciles premium, claims funding and cash for the quarter, keeps every filing on a calendar with its regulator source, and produces the close package, board package and audit binder. A person reviews and signs everything.
- Do you replace my captive manager?
- No. Your manager stays your manager and signs the close. CaptiveVerify does the reading, checking and reconciling, and gives you both a live view. Managers use it directly; owners ask their manager for it, or ask us to introduce one that uses it.
- Is it an audit or an attestation?
- No. It prepares the close for review. The accountant reviews and signs; the auditor, actuary and regulator keep their roles.
- How small is too small?
- Nothing we have seen. Cells, 831(b) captives and single-parent captives under a million dollars of premium are the point. The work per quarter is the same whether the premium is $200,000 or $20 million, which is why the big managers price small captives out.
- How do we start?
- Managers run one quarter they have already closed, for two or three captives, in parallel, and compare hours and exceptions before committing. Owners start with a conversation about who manages the captive today. Pricing is quoted per firm on that call.
- How is the data protected?
- HIPAA-grade controls by construction: AES-256-GCM encryption under a key made for your firm alone, an authenticator app on every account, roles that follow the minimum-necessary rule, an append-only audit log, and a Business Associate Agreement for captives that carry protected health information. AI never sees a claimant and is used under zero-retention terms.

Start with a quarter you have already closed.
Managers: two or three captives, one finished quarter, a fixed pilot fee credited in full against setup. Owners: tell us who manages your captive today and we take it from there. Nobody signs anything until they have seen the result.
